Every room at Silver Sands has an ocean view. Our room not only had a good view of the water but also a short trail to the beach. In that regard, the room was exceptional, and considering the proximity to the sand, it was also exceptionally clean.

Location, size and amenities of room, cleanliness could not be beat. It's an older beachfront two story motel so weathered and salty but well maintained. Nor a luxury resort, a relaxed beachfront homey place. Staff was helpful but a bit clipped in speech - something that seemed to be just the way everyone talked in this little town. The lovey ocean front Sand Dollar restaurant is a short stroll sway, and the beach is right there. Not to miss, the Big Cedar walk just south of town just past the Promto Pup, which has a big hot dog with a wiggle of mustard on the roof. Yes, it's that kind of town, just fun.

The room was large enough to move around in without tripping over each other, the beds were large and comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean. The location was excellent; we could walk to almost everywhere we needed to go. Parking was good. Access to the beach was good, and we had a good (partial, as advertised) view of the beach.
